Hi Steptoe,
Not quite sure of the reasons ??
Another gent went to order some in and recieved a return email regarding it.
I know PR2's were on the list.

I suppose various importers are getting upset  >:(

Hi

Found some tyres on MotoSport in the USA with real good shipping. A few of us in the FJR Forum have bought from them, $30.00 flat shipping, 1 or 2 or 3 sets of tyres, all 30$.

So I'm going to buy in some Spitfires, was hoping for BT45's oh well.

PS Rockymountain do not ship some brands of tyres, you have to go through the process and see if they will ship them. e.g. I'm sure they dont sell Michlins to Australia.

Cheers
Ken

Hi,
Sorry I haven't been on the Forum for a while, the XS has been on the back burner for too long.

Well I'm buying in some tyres, sorry tires, in from the USA for the XS and thought I'd post up some good links.
A group of us, in SE Qld,  have bought a tyre changer and now changing out our own, buying in tires from the States.

I've paid for my share of the Cycle Hill changer the first time I changed out the rear tyre, real easy to do and to balance.

I'm waiting to see the shipping costs from MotocycleTire.Com, but here are the links.
Click for Front Tyre
Click for Rear Tyre

EDIT: sorry, the postage was huge to Australia, bummer.

Our little FJR group have been buying in tyres from Click for MotoSport
They have great postage rates, like $30.00 to Australia for 3 sets of tyres. And they arrive within a week.
I use PR2's on the FJR however Motosport don't stock tyres for the XS  :'(

Need to put some rubber on the bike before the XS goes to the National Rally.

Cheers
Ken
