Bump.

Regarding seat covers, I bought a resto cover from Eldorado in Sth Aust recently, for my RD.  Very happy with it.
Their website wont confirm if they've got one for the XS, as it doesn't list anything.  But this'd be it anyway.

Hey Edgey,

If you look on ebay.co.uk they have seat covers for the standard.  I paid around AUD$100 including postage.  They are easy to fit if your seat foam is not too badly damaged and they look brand new.

Cheers

Eddy

Hi Eddy,

Do the UK seat covers fit the Aussie '80 standards okay?  I had a look and noticed that the pattern's slightly different to mine, so wasn't sure.  (It's the same burnt in checkerboard style but mine has a few more 'squares' - might just be different spacing with larger squares on the replacement ones?)

I sent a question to the ebay seller in the UK but he wasn't sure.

Cheers,

Edgey

The crossed hoses mate?

Is that to make the headers fit with the oil cooler in place?
If that's so, was it a striaght fit? I ask as I'm interested in a Mac4 system with turnouts but they don't make them to fit models fitted with oil coolers.

Nice job on the bike by the way.

Thanks for the tip Eddy - just found the seat covers on the UK Ebay site and am about to buy one.  Gotta love the internet!

Very neat wiz,
Just wondering is that an older triumph inspired paint scheme? particularly the detail on the tank.
Hope to see it and yourself at brewarrina or bourke or dubbo or wherever the get together ends up being ;)

Wow Wiz, it's looking unreal!  Nice work.

Is your seat cover original? The reason I ask is that I've been looking everywhere to find a replacement cover in the original style, without any luck so far though.
