phil,
y dont u put a bolt in the middle of the adjuster
like ive done on my bike, then u wont need to worry
about stripping the side bolt out.

I don't have a spare laying around, but why don't you just get it helicoiled? Only takes a few minutes to do, doesn't cost much, and you'll never have trouble with it again

Hey guys, does anybody have a spare cam chain adjuster that they are willing to sell?
I managed to strip the thread that the adjusting bolt uses to secure the plunger  :(
All I need is the outer housing as everything else is in good shape.
