Yeah she's a chef, but works in an office now now.

So who has the details, is it camping or what, we don't  mind either way.

We were thinking that the Adeladians should meet the Victorians and all ride up together if possible.

if it happen theres a good chance quite a few people would take a day or 2 either side of the w/end.  this is starting to sound positive

any administrators out there that could set up a poll or register or the like so we can mark down our intention to go or decline and make some plans around those numbers?

the date was set as the w/end of the sat, sun, mon, cause it's a long w/end up here,{QLD} that time of year would still be comfortable out there tho,,

Righto Guys...I'm in. Have put in for a weeks leave to enjoy the ride. Not to hammer the hell outta the ol' girl. So Bourke it is and Steptoe is quite right...a fair way from Townsville....but what the heck you only live once and would love to have a few beers with the rest of the 11 nutters!!! I'll see you all there....and I reackon May is perfect!!

Cheers Rhodie.

Sorry for overlooking the FNQ guys, as Tony said ...whatever the concensus, I'll go with it , and yes its hard to please all the people all of the time.
maybe we could get something going to register genuine interest and commitment and go from there?

the main reason I picked our area,, is the region is central to AUS east coast,, there are several members north of here to the tune of 1000klm also,, townsville were Rhodie, and a couple of others are,, is a very full 11hr run to my place

lets not lose sight of the date,, 5th and 6th of may 2012,,,

a 1 or $2 coin a day in a jar, there be plenty of moola for the run,, and to line up time off work

any location at any time will not suit all membes,, all we can do is have a go,,

has been put in the calender, with several reminders before the date

Yeah Tony I hear ya ....with the good riding roads etc
Just using the approch of being fair on distance and the pocket to everyone.

Getting there is half the fun and being there is the other half, whatever the venue.

Hi Jonesy,

I'm easy either way with the get together. Personally I like the idea of having a national get together somewhere different each year. If Steptoe hosts next year, perhaps someone in VIC or SA or elsewhere could host the following year. One year could include a ride along the great South Road!  I'd prefer to go places where we can have some good riding together (no disrespect to Bourke - but I would think it would be a lot of flat straight riding?) than pick somewhere that is sort of central. But if central is the consensus, I'm happy with that and will make every effort to be there!!
