Ask your painter, but you may well have to bite the bullet and chuck it in the oven to try to soften it enough to get it back in shape.

they do look good, but here is my delemma when i went to put the panels on today for a mock up,i got new tyres on it about 3 months ago, same as what was on there, on the front i put a 100/90x18 ,its to wide, hits both sides of the guard mounting bracket, it shouldve been 90/90x18,looked at the old guard and you can see the big gouges out of it i assumed it was cause it was mounted all bent up,and my other delemma is the right hand side panel, it must have destorted (cant think of anything else) when it got baked, its a different (after market) one thats gauenteed not to crack like origenal ones, its made of a softer more flexible plastic, i will ask the painter wearher or not i can try and heat it with a hair dryer to see if it can be reshaped a bit, its 2 pac and well i hope i can do something about it, i will put up a a photo

have a look at the right side cover, its bugging the hell out of me, i hope i cand sort it out, with the seat on it ,it will straghtin it out so theres a gap between it and the tank, but the paint will come of, any suggestions welcomed

hi, have been missing in action for a long time, was all worked up about getting a XS1100 but found it a bit daunting to start with so am 2/3's hopefully into a RD350lc, it opened my eyes up to the actual cost of restoreing a bike to mint or near mint when there is virtually nothing salvageable on the bike, anyway heres a couple of pics, should get the tank and panels back this week,i have to admit i love my little 2 strokes, see ya,ken

its a little further ahead than this, but it gives you an idea
