The Boyer does the advance electronically so the timing is still the same

Yeah Aux,  sounds like a good mix.   Although  the vac-advance system isn't a "necessary" thing,  the bike still runs faultlessly without it,  the vac-advance is just a "nice little add-on" to have.

Forgot to mention I use XJR1200 carbs and all you do is Just install the XS main jets modify the cable end at the carb and off you go. A straight forward swap

I use a Boyer Bransden ignition which makes the whole lot redundant. Also means no stuffing around with new carbs if you want to change them.
Result better smoother reving and easy 320ks to a tank.
When i get out of hospital I will see what we can do as far as setups go but I'm a bit tied up with tubes right now.

Getting a bit confused here,   Excess.11 (Jeff)  I assume it was you who sent a PM wanting a vac-unit, sent you a PM but didn't seem to work,   Exs1.1 (Phil) maybe I sent you the PM,  fekked if I know what's going on,  think I confused your PM address with Excess.11 (Jeff) but doesn't seem to be any sent items from my side,  I did send another PM to Excess.11 (Jeff)  but now am thinking it may have been sent to Exs1.1 (phil) but still no sent items recorded on my-messages,  so Excess.11 (Jeff)send me another PM if still wanting a vac-unit.     What a balls-up  LOL

They ain't cheap,  50 bucks Aussie each plus postage for either of these two bro.   Both well sealed and operating.    Cheers

Hey pgnz, thanks for your offer mate but I have sourced one from a mate at work who has a donor bike. He first thought that he didn't have the part but realised that he did, so I picked it up this afternoon and will fit it on sunday. Thanks again bro, much appreciated.
Cheers: Phil

Hello, does anyone have a spare working vacuum advance diaphragm that the would like to sell? I am using one that I borrowed from Petejw and would like to give it back to him ASAP, bloody thieving wrecking yard won't split the unit and they want $150 for it.
Cheers: Phil
