OMG!! I had a red X7, just like the one in the bottom pic.

Had to leave it behind when I left the UK. 

The X7 & H2 were restored by Mr Ashkenzi, his wife rides the X7.  They are the parents of the MX rider, who's christian name eludes me for the moment.  Perfection - both of them.  My RD is a half arsed resto. Wrong tank, it's from the RD250A. Wrong seat cover, just a cheapie I had done many years ago.  Part re-chromed, part not I spent $700 on getting bits, mainly at the front rechromed byt didn't touch anything at the back.  One day.

Yes.  Tasty is correct.  You walk around at these dos and start thinking about the bankcard, savings account, mortgage...
The 1007 Norton was fantastic.  The H2 and X7 were basically perfect. Lots and lots of just beautiful bikes and everyone of them meant something to their owner, from a simple CB175 through to BSA Gold Stars.
The Adlers were just something different.  Don't think I've ever seen one before, let alone six.

I believe the fellow on the left brought his NSU from SA.  I thank him for doing a great job on teh sidecar wheel of my Triumph Tiger Trek.  I don't know him, just been told that that's him, if you follow

30th& 31st July around the Windsor / Hawkesbury area.

Anyway.. there was only one XS11 at the rally.  It was a G.  It was for sale.  I didn't take a photo of it ('cause I already got one).

Excellent rally.  Cool, foggy mornings.  Lovely sun shining days with almost no wind.  Perfect for a ride amongst likeminded peasants.
I took the RD up, with my 15 y.o. (60kg) son on the back.  My wife rode her SRV250, in response to which many people asked "'what is it?"

I've done a video, too.  And now that I can't upload photos, I'll submit this and have to wait until the video is on Youtube before adding the link.
