This was a last resort - I have tried 3 different "electronic" flasher cans all with the same result -
no flashing .....
odd eh?
 ???
worked OK until I fitted the Acewell dash unit....

Yep I found that using the load resistors was sort of negating the whole idea of LED use.
Call me later when you can I will be at work forever trying to get some time back  :'( :'(
0287601721 and I will call you back when you ae free.

I did think about the 200 odd grams I was adding to the total mass for sure.....
I guess I will have to leave my thongs behind ...... :D
seriously though - you are talking about electrical load aren't you?

You eliminate those load resistors if you do it the way I did. They use electrical POWER and upset your power to weight ratio......that is a no no

Basically the last job.....make the LED indicators and Acewell dash unit "flash"
this was the solution......

and Hey Presto......flashing indicators.....
Of course it wasn't quite that simple - mounting them on metal...... had to manufacture a bracket, fixed it behind the battery where the tool box used to be.......

He might become a member of the 300 club after all.
300 KLM range, though. Not the 300 KPH one.

Hi Bryan. I'm pretty sure Geoff was looking for some taps for his big tank if you're not going to use them. He must've forgotten about them with his 20 or so ongoing projects happening at this time.
I'll lob in tomorrow and remind him.
Good to see it finally coming together for you.

When putting the tank back on I find I have to rest the tank on the rubbers and then forcefully push down and forward to locate it.
It's a very snug fit mate.

ok - got the tank -

it is off a Maroon machine by the look of it

now have surplus stock fuel taps,

these are what I use

Tell me - how tight a fit on the frame rubbers are your tanks - my old tank had been in the wars and this new one is snug to say the least -
