What had happened is all of a sudden cylinder 1 wasn't working properly. Steptoe and Ev went out of their way trying to help and gave me various things to try. Bryan phoned up to help and a bit over an hour later I was in his garage. NOTE: His bike looks awesome (disregard the tank needing painting).

Bryan quickly diagnosed it as probably the coil lead. Unfortunately you can't replace a lead, you replace a coil with 2 leads. And guess what - he happened to have a spare one in in his bag of tricks!

Now on Ev and Steptoes bikes the coils go in pairs 1-3, 2-4. I confidently told Bryan that this is how it worked as advised by our gurus. On our models however the coils are in pairs 1-4, 2-3. A funny thing happened - Bryan had his coil labelled 1-4, and quickly without me seeing pulled the stickers off so I wouldn't see them and we proceeded to hook them up 1-3.  Of course it went worse so Bryan pulled out his library of manuals, in almost an instant as if the whole thing was memorised opened the appropriate page and there it was 1-4. Quick adjustment and problem solved!!

Thanks for all your help Steptoe and Ev and especially Bryan who dropped everything and spent the afternoon working on my bike.

What an amazing helpful bunch of guys!!

Here s a Flasher can" designed"  for LED relacement..................

Features
- Ensures LED indicators flash at the correct rate
- Direct replacement for original flasher relay on your bike
- Works with 1 pair of Halogens and 1 pair of LED indicators, or 2 pairs of LED indicators
- Includes diagnostic circuit which doubles the flash rate if one indicator is not working, as per Australian requirements for road registration
- See other listings for a matching LED indicators

Pin Application
31 = Earth
49 = Power In
49a = Power Out to indicators

Dimensions
Body Length is 35mm
Length including pins is 46mm
Width is 27mm

Installation
Simple. Just remove your existing flasher relay and plug in this LED flasher relay. The three pin configuration is the most commonly used. If it does not match your existing loom then a small bridging harness can easily be made to adapt it.

  I spy with my little eye, something that begins with "B" and hangs off the fork sliders. You didn't mention their fitment, or did I miss a post somewhere?

Now it'll pull up, no matter how far the throttle's open. Looking great mate!
