OK then....
Went for a proper ride today
Albany Creek to The Gap, then Mount Glorious, doen to the "T", left to the next "T"
then off to Atkinsons Dam Caravan Park, then on to Esk....
151km - 11.08 litres of premium fuel = 13.6km/litre = 327km per tank
That was in twisty mode (holding 2nd/3rd using engine as brake)
should do better on the, YAWN, Brisvagis to Bourke run....
 :D :D :D

the caps I am using atm are not those in the pic.
I have some 4mm caps from Supercheap 0 they are shiny, plastic like.
not rubber.
they may be silicon I spose (hopeful)
they seem to be ok but I carry spares with me.

Didn't know you could still get them.

I too used some fuel hose and cut the end off a golf tee to block it off.
I used a red coloured tee to match my red plug leads. Makes a nice visual effect.

Can you still get those?
I used some fuel hose with a bolt stuck in them.

Was thinking low level in the bowl, as you know these things will pop and fart more than usual on the over run when approaching reserve fuel level in the tank. So an improper float height would be the same. Just thinking out loud.
