Hello,
I greet
all Australian XS driver.
Now I have found the way with great help here in the forum. Unfortunately, my English is not very good and that's why I work with a lot of the translator tool. if you have a question about the exhaust system, I'll try to answer.

cheers
Heinz

It fits the same as the original pipes :-)
If you want a photo you will have to wait until I get a set.

Lads

Can you post a pics of a standard exhaust from underneath the bike so I can see how it fits please.

My reason for asking is that I'm installing the after market stainless mufflers off the CBX on the XS and purchasing a new set (copys of the originals) for the CBX as it's the one I want to restore back to original.  A pikky of the standard exhaust will help me fabricate a new exhaust for the XS.  I have done most of it already just need to confirm a bit of detail.

Reply from Heinz

Hello Christian,

ok, the Modell is the 2H9 the Standard XS.

You can tell the other Owners,

the exhaust is built exactly like the original interior. As a result, there are no problems with the performance.

Best Regards
Heinz

He is very well known in Germany and the reason for the time lag is that the internals etc even the balance boxes have to be hand done as they are not just a tube with holes. I think it even had the yammie part number on it just for good measure.
A number of the Germans I met said his work was excellent.
If I had been a bit quicker I could have ordered a set when I was there but....oh well

You mention.........original internals..........that has always been a question asked when looking at these replicas..........what has been said to confirm this as well as original performance values.
I know a lot gets lost in translation ......or not clearly said / understood.
Are there any testemonials to confirm this from any purchasers .
It is a lot of money..........for some..........to spend.

Exhaust bloke I was talking to told me it was cheaper to use s/s for exhaust systems as the regs for using the chemicals etc made chrome plating them much dearer than it used to be???? like the gas in you air con I guess.

I was looking at these 940Euros 85Euros delivery 100% original internals etc s/s
About $1500
All hand done about 10 weeks delivery

Trouble with chrome is that the new govt regs make it a much more expensive proposition than s/s
