Probably true. But then again, I don't think it is that hard to create a cross over pipe to link both sides together.

I think the layout of the pipes in the Head Muffler without connection to the other side brings problems with the performance of below.

I think they are the 4-2 mac one's. Simply due to how the 4-2 joins together. My current exhaust on the bike is a 4-2-1 but the 2-1 end is a home job hence the upgrade.

These I assume would be originals

Hi Noz...maybe post a pic to see if you bought original headers or aftermarket ones.
Original headers had a double wall....and were not stainless steel....if they had of been...most would nt be rusted out as many have over the years.
Your off to a good start if they are the original headers.....but the magic performance in low and mid range torque these bikes were renown for has a lot to do with the original muffler " internal design '.

I got mine in the mail today. Not the one that's custom made from Germany but a 2nd hand 4-2 from the USA - minus the mufflers. It has a bit of surface rust but doesn't seem to have caused any corrosion that made any holes. BTW did these come out in only stainless steel? Because mine is quite light (I'll put them on the scale when I get the chance). Took only 7 days to arrive which Im quite impressed about considering Ive bought from overseas before and it usually takes 2 weeks ie China. I dont know if what I got was a good deal but it was $80 and about $90 to ship  :o :(

What The!!?? (translator went beserk ) Oh well. welcome Heinz, and thanks from all who can benefit from your skills in the art of exhaust system production.
Tell your friend not to stress and just carry on with his production of these exhausts.
Can't wait for Xtian to get his and hear his feedback!

Greetings to you Heinz,
How long is the manufacture period? and not exactly a question about the exhaust system but how much money to send to Australia.
It is a very nice looking system you are producing
