Yesterday I took the bike out for its maiden registered run of about 40 Km into town and back and on return I started going over it with a temp sensor gun (for the off with the cooler post)and after a few minutes of idling I seen smoke starting to waft up from under the tank. I was seeing temps of about 80 - 90 deg C off the filter housing, sump and oil pipe to the cams before I shut it down.
Thats a long winded way of getting to my Q.
The good book says Champion/NGK plug types BP8ES/N8Y
The plugs in mine are Bosch W7 DC which are going to be replaced with iether of the above.
Finally the question.
Does anyone have a plug comparison chart in there backpocket
that could shed some light on these numbers and heat range and effect on running temps?
