Ive got one Paul, and a fair selection of shims too. They are actually in with jamie at the Bike Stop, if you drop in and see him just tell him I said you could grab it (and just exchange any shims you use  from my selectionif you wish).
Drop them back into me at work one day.
Grant

Mate,

gaskets and filters I buy bulk on ebay when they come up and as for the shimming tool there is a dealer on ebay that comes up regularly with depressor, screw and allen key for $9.99 plus about the same for postage from the States.

I'd put the link here if I knew how.
Errol did try to help me with this some time ago but I'm afraid I'm a lost cause.

Go to eBay International and type in "Yamaha Valve Shim Tool XS750 SX850 XS1100 XJ650"

Thanks Grant
The XS  I  just bought is running a bit rough so I'm going to give it the once over. The fuel is probably stale as  too.
Anyone got a shimming tool for loan or sale?

Where do you get your parts from like filters and gaskets etc.
Yamaha dealer? On line supplier? or?
If on line who are the good local suppliers?

Thanks
Jonesy.
