Hey Bros,
after many goes at it and a couple of emails to Xtian I'm finally in.
Names Fred and although I've owned 23 bikes in my time I've had my '78 XS1100E for most of the time as well. It was always a good fallback when the Trumpies and Shovelheads broke down.
323,000 klm on her now and due her third strip down and pretty up next winter. These things go for ever don't they.
I'll post some pics once I figure out how.
It's only ever been to a workshop once and that was for a tune up when I was overseas and needed it for a club run the day I was back. You guessed it "they stuffed it good and proper". Started it up without the camchain tensioner on and the chain jumped off the sprocket and you can guess the rest.
Anyway, I'm in RUFFY, Victoria and have always got a cold home brew for anyone passing though.
Email early as I only open up this bloody thing when I have to, (every three to four day).
A friend will help you move,
but a Brother will help you move a body.
