West to Samford for fuel and air, west up over Mt Glorious, not many m/cycles on the road (too many push bikes tho) got to the top and there is a road block, road closed! badly washed out from floods.
OK - quick conference - lets go north then.
Back down to Samford, north to Daybro, over Mt Mee - a quick stop...
then on to D'aguilar, Woodford, road closed around Villeneuve, so on west on the highway to Kilcoy.
the Esk road around Somerset Dam closed as is the back road so back to the highway and west again, over the Brisbane River and turn left thru Harlin, Toogoolawah, Esk, then Fernvale.
Let me sat that the Brisbane River has had a really good clean out to say the least. The Wivenhoe Dam spillway is raped.... not a tree to be seen... "No stopping on dam wall" so no pics of that.
the weather was superb I must say!!
Lunch at Fernvale then more highway on to the Cunningham Hwy and into the city - stop at the Jindalee Bridge
