She runs like a tractor and sounds like one to......but what a grin factor riding it.....no speed machine for sure but great for that Sunday cruise.......I am in love again....... :D

Had me a '69 Bonny in 1974. I still remember the day she traded for a 65 Beeza :( :( which traded for a, which traded for a........ Well, you know how it goes.

same kind of story as  a builder in Rocky,,

bought an old house on a farm out of town a bit,, with a couple of old sheds, {this is 1992},,

with a couple of old wooden boxes under an old tarp,, under some other crap,

1 of them contained--------------------------------- a 1900's Ariel, still wrapped in wax paper,, never was unpacked,, for what ever reason no one will ever know,,

 no I'm afraid I don't know the rest of the story,, we moved

Here is My new Triumph Bonneville 1969. Basic run down is the guy owned it for last 30 years, he decommissioned it in 1992 and it has lived in his Barn (yes that's right Barn complete with hay and lots of bird shite). He answered my ad requesting any bikes for sale. Couldn't believe my luck......he was trying to sell his K2 hondas to me but I was disinterested.....then he sort of mentioned his old trumpy as if I would hardly be interested.....Boy was he wrong.....I brought it sight unseen for $3500.......Got it home and done a general survey........1. it has a flat battery and a missing fuse.....sorted easy.....2. It had wet sumped....drain oil and replace....3. no fuel....fill tank.............then hell why not.....tickle, tickle and turn the key....kick...kick and she is away.....a little warm and then she sits and idles nicley............head off for inspection at the traffic dudes....PASS no probs......special interest rego and she is on the road.......TOO EASY

True story......they are still out there.....Fungy
