Hi Christian, I followed Steptoe's lead and posted a reply to his thread on towbars. All the bits required are listed there plus some pics, so it should help as a guideanyone  putting one together.
When I built mine, I only had a toy Mig welder which I'd used once, I put the bends in the main spars by wedging the bars in the A frame of my box trailer and used a piece of pipe over the ends to provide more force. I only tack welded the thing together though. I left the responsibility of final welding this bar together to a boilermaker at my old workplace as I didn't trust my skills back then.
Looking at your bike in the photos, I'm not sure how your pannier frames mount but the uprights should be able to slip in there ok. The rear bends for the tongue will be different though because of the length of your exhaust system. Would have to be worth having a look at

Have you got a notion to pull a trailer, Christian? If so, I haven't got plans as per sec, but I can measure mine up tomorrow for you. The bends on the main links will probably be different cos of my pipes but it should be pretty easy to make one.

Jeez Pete. Looks like you've been really busy in your man cave.
I've got a really short rear guard and there's really nowhere else so I had to put them on my Keg.

Hey Xtian,
Im new (relatively speaking) to this forum, so maybe I missed something , but in my trawling of old posts I cam across the setting up of shirts.
You were placing the logo on the front and the xebsite across the back.
I would only add if you are placing the emblem on the front, place it on the left chest area, shirts look better like that and I like the webaddress as you had it across the back.
I dont really agree with usernames on the shirt but thats an individual thing I guess.
Next question: Are they happening and how much?? I would take 2 no problems. Size XL

I have already thought about and discussed with myself the idea of moving the logo to the left and making it just a tad bigger and maybe leaving the web address off the logo and just having it on the back.
Always hard to get right the first time

AND No Sez *** is not paying for it.....well not much :P :P :P

Looks good mate, and I like your ideas for the second draft 8)

It looks good! ;D Christian, you have put alot into this site, and I think you are doing a very good job of it. I tip my hat to you........ ;)

I have been looking at the site stickers you sent me, and I have been wondering where you guys place them on your bikes. I have looked at a few places, but can't make up my mind....... 8)
