I'd say that you could still get the originals from any bike shop, they would not be exclusive to our bikes just a carb part for any bike
Hey Christian, I hope that your right, I wanted to relplace the rubber carb to head rubbers and all I could find was a place in SA (won't say their name) and they wanted $400:00 for them and quoted that he knew  that he knew they were the last set in Auss? I ended up finding some in the US, bought them for $74:00 US cost me $78:00 AUD including gaskets, I intend to replace them over Christmas, I hope I can get the bung plugs also from Yamaha or where ever if you know where, let me know?

BTW freight from the US was $32:00 still worked out $290:00 cheaper

Cheers

The cheapo blister pack ones pop off as you ride and they get warm. If anyone finds good uns let us know.

Hi,
I had to get some of those vacuum caps for the FJR.
You can find them in those Champion blister packs you find in Autobarn/ Supercheap/ Repco.
Repco had loose assorted sizes behind the counter at about 8 for $10.

Think mine still has the originals on it judging by their appearance and hardness.

Doesn't sound like I want new ones though either....

Yeah,  pretty obvious from the pic that cylinder number 5 isn't balanced with the other 4 cylinders coz the cylinder number 5  manifold cap is sealing too tightly

so, Lucrezia was starting to run a little rough, hunting a bit....
into the workshop, pulled the plugs, all the same, a little leaner than usual.....
found this - what is the problem??
