;D One other xs in the carpark............mine.I can back up the carpark scenario as well......also much of the general public viewing area...........it was a quagmire. For the money being asked for general admission.........the state of the area around the circuit is 3rd class. Some type of more resilient surface should be put down in the car park as well as viewing areas.Even a network of wide surfaced pathways leading to and through these areas would alleviate the boggy cow pastures we had to endure. On a happy note the racing was excellent.

The poor old XS made it all the way to Phillip Island from Canberra faultlessly. Two of the others with their modern thin sports tyres had two flats.

I stop in Albury overnight with my mum and pick up my brother and his mates, the same on the way back [too old to do the nearly 800 Km in one day.]

Thursday ride was OK but the trip from Albury to PH was horrendous with constant heavy rain. Very interesting over the Black Spurr.

The lads had a good laugh cos I carry a spare ignition module, regulator and Ignition pickup with me.  [They don’t keep at the dealers any more don’t ya know]

Anyway a good time was had by all
