i think i read somewhere on the .com site
that they were using weather stripping or something similar
i think it was tc who had redone his speedo.  jat

hunted the rubbers to go round mine a while ago,, could only get genuine,,

$80 each thankyou very much,,,decided I didn't need them that much  :(

Got this from Mal Pitman (will have to teach him how to use the forum  ;D ;D) about renewing the square instrument rubbers.

As I mentioned on the phone, I found the 3H3-83513-00 speedo dampers and modified them to fit the square instruments of the XS1100 by adding 50mm into the length and rejoining them with super glue. They bring the instruments back to original.

The part is still available from Yamaha so to fix 2 instruments you need 3 sets, 1 is the bit for the extra 50mm so if anyone wants to repair their instrument rubbers let me know and the 1 sacrificial piece could probably do 3 sets of instruments
