"Shed Echidna"  Yeah, I quite like that. Very Australian.
Hey Steptoe, got your patent design finalised yet?

Classic steptoe.

Call it the Shed Echidna. Looks a bit like an echidna with that long nose and it sucks up metal like an echidna sucks up ants.

Absolutely shameless!! See you're still getting around with the appropriate footwear. Spanner will be horrified!
  Onya Mate!!

P.S. just curious as to what you were drilling to end up with swarf scattered over an area of what looks like 30 - 40 SQ metres???

the rag's a bloody great idea, 8),

the tongue's longer cause it wasn't real stable with the wheels behind the mag,

plus with the tongue longer the mag is out on it's own further getting a better clean

You're a classic piece of work, mate! Show's how confident you are with it working by walking around your shed in bare feet. Good stuff! You've modded it slightly from when I saw it. The layout's a bit different underneath. Any reason for that, or are you just tweaking it?
I've got an idea to make it easier to get the swarf etc. off the magnet after you've "swept"up. wrap a thin piece of cloth over the magnet, then when you're done, hold it over the bin and pull the cloth away from the magnet and all the metal will come away with it. Whaddaya reckon?
