This is for any Special owners out there who are trying to find front pads from a Yamaha dealer. When I first got mine, it took me 3 shops in Brisbane before I finally found a guy who was willing to take the time to search for an alternative fitment (XS750 Special) as they all had no reference for the 1100 Specials. Apparently, any of these listed will fit, but you will have to get left and right sides, as they are different.
YAMAHA   XJ   650   G, H, SH    1980 - 1983
YAMAHA   XS   650   G, H, J, K   1980 - 1982
YAMAHA   XS   750   H, J, K   1981 - 1982
YAMAHA   XS   750   SE   1979 - 1980
YAMAHA   XS   850      1981 -
YAMAHA   XS   1100   SF, SG, SH, LG   1979 - 1981
YAMAHA   XV   750   SE   1981 -
YAMAHA   XV   920   K, MK, Virago   1983 -

Or, go to Ebay, as I do.
