Hi all,

I'm Rob, and I have recently joined the XS1100 owners club. I have inherited a 78E minus wheels and front forks and some other misc parts that either weren't required or were removed with the side car (leading link front end).

I am just gathering the parts needed to complete the old girl and get her on classic rego. I have had bikes my whole life, starting with dirt bikes (Yamaha) and later modern roadies (Honda) but I haven't really had the classic bike experience. Given I have a fresh baby boy, I am not planning on riding fast or stupid anytime, so I think this will be just the ticket to get out of the (isolation) house, firstly fixing her up, then riding in the sun.

Anyway, I have posted in the bits wanted section and will probably be scouring the tech forums in due course  ::)

Cheers
Rob
