I thought I remembered that you had put 100 forks on it?

Nice Carl.

Just a thought. An option you have available with your spares is to swap the fork bottoms to get the offset wheel. I think that might look better, but you might prefer the tighter steering that the standard forks give you.

At the mo I am going for rough look.....sort out all the mechanical s, oil leaks, cables etc and get her running beautiful. looks not important. Once I have the  bike sorted and get the look I am after, then its wait till the winter, strip down and paint every thing that's not chrome. I like the look of the Bultaco tank that is rounded, but I don't mind the xs tank as well. I think for cost issues I will stick with xs tank. I kind of like the non symmetrical look. I say this all now but It will turn into a hardtail with apes or something cause I had a whim.....go figure....but for now that's the plan.......ruff but sorted....

Nice Carl.

One thing I don't think looks great on the 650 is the tank. Something a bit more rounded would look great and a less prominent filler cap would look better.

What level of finish are you going for? Rough n rugged or "new pin"??

Hey Bro,

always happy ;D to look at and talk about any bike and after all it is an XS and the subject is "XS Related Chatter".

Perhaps a forum title of "All Other Non XS1100 Chatter"?    Christian??
