all's high and dry here at home,, bundys' river is on the rise again, belting the people that are half way thru their clean-up,, water is back inside buildings, and the heart-ache to go with it,,

had been sunny for 2 days, so I figured I'd knock the top 8" off the lawn,, think again, got the victa bogged pushing it,, so I dragged it backwards for 3 hrs, long grass, deep puddles and all,
these victa's are as bullet proof as our 11s"

highway is supposed to be open fri morn coming, not that there'll be a town to get stock out of at the other end tho

not forgetting Jim in Mackay, and the boy's in FNQ,, just as wet as down here, but maybe not the volumes we're seeing down here,, TV's coverage has stopped nth of Bris, about the same spot QLD stops  :o  :-X,  hey EV  ;), so not real sure whats up there now

bundys' rainfall for dec was betwwen 600, and 700mm,, 200+ fell xmas/new yr gap

relieved to here your right Ken,  there's plenty of others in the firing line from here down to Kempsy,  was the last place I heard mentioned,,

stay safe,, stay smart all,, Geoff

It's rather horrific what's happened up here and below the range. I was helping a neighbour who couldn't make it home keep the water from going in his house.
My garage was getting starting to get swamped.

Have a few mates in the FJR Forum, one of which lives in Granthem. He and his family are safe but the town is a disaster area. Withcott is the same.

The TV is blaming the flash floods in from Toowoomba, but it's the Dividing Range, Toowoomba's waters will end up in the Murry River, not down Withcott.

Can't contact another FJR who was ordered out yesterday in Ipswich.

Toowoomba Centre and the range  are still closed.

Hope every one is safe and well, keep and eye out on your mates and friends.

This is Brian from the UK forum hoping all you guys are safe.  It sounds pretty bad, the UK press are saying 9 deceased and 59 missing and that they expect it to get worse over the next two days.

Take care.

I was going to create a thread to say the same.

Hope you all stay safe and that not too much damage is done. I don't do prayers, but jeez you'd deserve one if I did.

Take care and hope it ends soon.

Just a quick message hoping that everyone in its path is ok. I read a post from FJRKEN on the .com site saying he was all good, which is a relief as they really copped a bad one up there. Hope everyone else fares as well . We're past the worst up this way but the main highway's cut north and south of us.
