Hi everyone,
Hope this is the right space for my question. The barrel on my ignition fell apart, had it fixed by a locksmith, works fine.
Problem is that I now can't get the bike to start. When I turn the key the (trying to remember here) tacho needle goes up then down then up again.
Not sure about XS11's but is there some sort of insulator that I may have lost that goes between the bottom of the contacts on the electricals that feed out of the base of the ignition set up?
Any help greatly appreciated. Looked on Bike Bandits site for the pics of the ignition but the XJ900 never hit the USA shores as a seller by Yamaha.
