Can't get any better performance or milage with higher Ron no matter how much I kid myself.

as far as fuel goes mine doesn't run any better or get any more distance running on anything other than 91, { plain old unleaded }

I wouldn't bother with anything above 95 octane.  All the Brit XS11 owners use 95 - no problems with it, no need to pay more for 98 gas. Saving money = buy more bikes.

I used 98 octain in all my bikes, am I doing something wrong?

Took the XS on it's first real run with the VVCMC on Sunday, bike went well although don't expect too much from a tank of fuel, the low fuel light came on at 160K's and I was on reserve not much later, here is a pic.
