Vac hose replaced and checked all OK. When I replaced pilot jet the top of the housing had a screw in place acting like a blank the the replacement screw came with a hole in the centre so I installed the new screw  Im not sure if the old screw or new one is the go.

I dug up the sizes of the new jets they are main is 137.5 and the pilot is 45 which I think is slightly bigger than original. Everything has been cleaned and all new parts installed. Thanks

sounds like something when transitioning from idle jets to main jets? what about those jets with the cross drilled holes and a tiny hole at the end? emulsion jets or something like that. The little hole on the end was blocked on 3 out of the 4 on mine and it ran like a dog until I cleared them

1  was it bogging before you did the work,,,
if not
2  what did you change in way of adjustments while the carbs were apart,, if any,, change in jet sizes, new diaprahgms,,, float hieghts are a big one

I normally work backwards if some thing has changed after doing work
