Thanks Eddy

You've just reminded me that I have one of those brochures myself.

I just have to find it now, hopefully I find it before I finish rebuilding the old girl.  ;D

Cheers

PS did you end up with any spare fuse holders??

Paul,

Have a look at the side cover picture in this brochure

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-XS1100-Sales-Brochure-Original-/160929335048?pt=AU_Clothing_Merchandise_Media&hash=item257822c708

It shows you the position of the factory model.

Cheers

Anyone know how to line up the side cover decals? Do they sit right in the middle? Got all excited and forgot to take
measurements before sending them off to the paint shop.

one other thing with putting them on Russel, like all stickers spray a little soapy water on the surface first,, that way you can move it around a little till your happy then squeeze the water out and let dry

Hey Paul
I just looked at Eddy's link......if you go that way ask them about the tank pin stripes, I think the originals go right around in an unbroken line? the linked ones don't. But still a good source and the price looks reasonable too

Hey Jonesy

Was the full decal set easily come by?  I want to repaint my bike now that it's in bits and I will obviously need to do it right, mine is the same as your two.

Hey Russell
I've got a full decal set as well, tank & side cover pin stripes and all, I thought when it comes time I'd let a pro do it

For Xmas my daughters gave me a set of replacement decals. Everything has been repainted so the question is??? the best way to put them on and also how to line them up?  They are for the XS1100E

Don't want to stuff this up as once on,  I'm  thinking there is no return.

thanks in advance
Russell
