Yes Geoff. That's the Wayne Gardner you now know from the V8's use to race bikes and even snaffled the world 500cc GP crown at one stage.
And yes, there would be a huge kerfuffle about that much water anywhere near a race circuit nowadays.

2 things,,#1 it might be a silly question, is the Wayne Gradner they're talking about a very young Wayne we now,, or an other one :-[

#2 can you imagine the cuffufle {O H&S} if todays grand prix bikes had pits with that much water in them
