Glad to see everyone got home from their adventure safely.  From the only non riding, non male, longest suffering pillion attendee of the inaugural Australian rally - thank you to youall for making it an enjoyable week-end, especially our riding companinions - Bryan and Errol. Being an xs1100 website widow it was great to put faces to the names that my beloved spends his nights with, we really enjoyed getting to know you all better - what a great group of guys to spend the week-end with.  I took a book with me to read when i got over listening to incessant bike talk but didn't even open it - so that must be a good indication of how entertaining you were.
It would however, be nice to have a few more "other halves" to sympathise with at the next one!
 ;D

We could nt of hand pick a better mix of people to make the first Rally such a success.
The contributions by everyone in whichever way......... made it all come together to what it was.
The conversations and friendships that evolved were priceless.
The range of bikes outstanding.
Michelle..........a big thank you....for your efforts in putting up with and looking after us.
A special thanks to the Melbourne Crew for the laughs and companionship.
Starting to" tear "up.......just thinking it s going to be another 12 months till the next one.
Will someone pass me a tissue ?

THanks Christian for making it all happen, hope you get the bike back on the road.

Had a great time, enjoyed meeting everyone. Arrived home at 5:30 this evening, agree with Brian, Melbourne traffic sucks.
Did a final HI FIVE with Jeff, just before the Eastern Freeway.
Special thanks for my riding companoins, Brian, Dale & Jeff, What snoring? Now have to remove all the bugs from my bike.

Made it home safe and sound. Traffic on the ring road reminded why people love the bush.

Had a great time and it was awesome meeting all the real people behind the forum. Cant wait to do it all again soon. Special thanks to Jeff, Dennis and Dale who all made great travelling companions (apart from the bloody snoring).

Well we had or first Aussie XS1100 rally at Bourke.
I guess average distances travelled was about 1000kms.

My bike blew up 30ks out of town, went from an 1100 to a 750 to a 500 then a 250 and it was taken in on a tow truck and will have to be shipped back to Sydney.
Lost compression on 1, 2 and 4.
Thanks to you all for fussing over me and me bike.

Bunch of blokes and of course Mrs. Steptoe  :-*,who kept us all fed, turned up and all had a good time hoping for more next time.

Kidman's Camp, were we stayed, is a definite place I would recommend for a stay.

Thanks to you all for making this first rally a great success. Had a great time even though  :'( :'( :'(

Just got home about half an hour ago. 10:45....long bus and train trip.

Have to get the bike back on the road when it turns up and start planning the next outing we will have together, maybe after this one a few more may come on board.

Again a BIG thanks to you all esp, Mr and Mrs Steptoe  :-* :-* :-*
