...and ,i suspect,cleaned the contacts in the switch block,because the horn seems alot louder[indicative of cleaned contacts,yes?]kind of restores one's faith in humanity.   :)

Thanx Steptoe and Pete:all good- the mechanic found the prob[loose connection]and i think he said he pulled the switch and headlight apart

also try pulling the switch block apart and scratch all the little brass contact points clean,,

hey scotty,  give the wires a wiggle that runs from the
l/h switch to under the tank, when mine did that it was
a poor contact between the connectors.
other than that u might need to remove the headlight
and wiggle those wires for a poor connection.

G,day all:i dont have high beam-but it does work now and again-wen i put the high beam switch on,i have no lights at all.Any clues?Thanx
