Used the work stand from  gtr 1000, had to build new brackets et al.

Hi Wiz, If the bike you're talking about is this one - CLICK, then it's a Standard. Just to be sure, what are the first 3 numbers of your frame?
That tube you're looking at (coming from the motor side spigot on #2 carb?) goes to the vacuum advance unit for the ignition.

Thanks Geoff, I think it's a standard, can you tel from the vin# ?
I haven't touched the mill yet, but I keep looking at the tube that goes from the carbs to the rotor casing, can you throw some light. Wiz.

I can,t remember wether your dealing with a std or special,, these are special numbers

height from base of stand, to eye centre 270mm

centre of cross tie, to eye centre 75mm

hope this helps,, not sure how much difference between models if any

Hi, this '81 has no work stand & even the brackets have been removed, this the plan, I have one from a kwaka, could someone measure their stand from the bottom of the foot to centre of bolts & from the cross tie on the frame to the centre of the bolts, see if I could make this one work.
