I had a bit of a read back through the posts and I think I jinxed the show by this statement I made a coupla months ago.

From what I've been able to gather, the show was postponed due to the show society's, or the council instructions after a last minute inspection of the site. It was deemed too wet to host a bike show and they were told in no uncertain terms not to proceed with the show.
I'd say the CLQ boys will have copped a fair bit of flak over the last minute change, but it's not their fault. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a very hard place.
Despite the change of plans, Steptoe and myself still managed to have a very positive and enjoyable weekend. It's a pity more of the proposed attendees couldn't improvise like we did.
Keep your chin up, Bryan, and the CLQ chaps. Just let us know when the new date is, and we'll be there.

Excellent ride report Ev, the way you tell the story mate, puts us right there with you guys. Sounds like you had a ball, good to see the bikes soldiered on through all that rain without any hiccups, well done mate. :D
