it wasnt all that bad actually , , Dave is good company and our riding styles are similar , , i find that i ride much more smoothly in the wet , , you know, no sudden movements, I think Ive mentioned here previously that the machine doesnt turn in as well on wet roads ~ although that may be me , , i was wet through on arriving home, and cold too having only worn my nike skins and leathers (which fit better having lost a few kg)

Great to see you're up and out and about on the bike again, Bryan.
Not exactly the best weather to be out on those roads, especially around Canungra / Tamborine.
Bet the coffees went down well once you got home.

Wednesday, December 1st 2010 - Dave phoned Tuesday night, "feel like a ride tomorrow?" I'm on jury duty but have a free day so "yeah, sure, why not" I say. So 7.00am after coffee we head out under overcast sky from my place at Albany Creek west to Samford, over Mt Glorious,(in cloud, on wet roads, visibility at times 50m), down the other side (stop for a safety meeting)

 and on towards Fernvale, (still overcast and cool, occasional patches of blue sky) across the Cunningham Hwy towards Boonah, and into Beaudesert, (raining now so stop for a coffee and a bite)

those are my wet gloves warming up on the engine....

then on to Canungra,




Tamborine

then home to AlBany Ck via Brisbane

(Dave, the ahead thinker, brought dry socks and wet weather pants)



- basically from Canungra to home IN THE FRELLING RAIN!!!!!
