'ready mate. . . I typed straight into the forum this time . . Previously I wrote in word and cut and pasted the text into the forum . . The roads were mostly patched pot holes . . Particularly from Murwillumbah to Kyogle and the Clarence Highway . . Probably a good thing as it kept our speeds down

Would've been an awesome trip, Bryan! Love the pic posted here! Signs like that stir something deep when you see them on the road ahead. One day, Ill get a bit of spare time (and finances) and start to get out and about a bit more too.


BTW. Did you do anything different when you posted this cos I can see it, unlike the last one.

OK - Monday 6am depart home with Dave (Ducati Monster SR2) to meet Craig (Suzuki Hayabusa) at Springwood Maccas - travelling to Nerang, then up Numimbah Valley, down to Murwillumbah, Kyogle, south thru Casino to Grafton for lunch. Then up the Gwydir Highway to Glen Innes (more warm clothes required) then down the New England Hwy to Uralla and across to Walcha for the night. (669km in 7h18m, av speed 91.48km/h)
Tuesday 8am depart down the legendary Oxley Hwy to Wauchope and back to Walcha (300km) then back to Uralla, Armidale towards Dorrego (planning to stay the night with friends at Bellingen) 30km out of Armidale the Suzuki suffered coolant loss through a stone damaged radiator. Back to Armidale for the night. -2 degrees!!
Wednesday morning found a radiator shop for repairs - Dave and I head into the Armidale mall for coffee. Then on towards Ebor with lunch at Russell Crow;s pub at Nymboida and a $15 burger and cleansing ale. Then on to Grafton and Casino for the night.
Thursday west on the Bruxner Highway towards Tenterfield, north on the Clarence Highway to Woodenbong and north onto the Mount Lindsay Highway to Beaudesert and into Brisbane - home by 2.00pm.
