I used to go to Natural Arch as it was called when I was a boy....we could swim there too....
these days it's somewhere I ride past on the way south to Murwillumbah (via Numinbah Valley)

It's all good at the Steptoe residence. Apparently it's not as low lying as I thought so that's a good thing. Childers was a car park again last night with both the Isis bridge (South) and the highway was closed at Gin Gin to the north and no one was going anywhere.
I'm high and dry with my place up on a ridge, though we are having an inundation of a different kind. Excuse the picture quality, but have a listen to the sound. You can't hear yourself think in the kitchen or dining room, but it's nice to have them around -

Need a bigger rain guage. Checked it just now and it's overflowing. That's 6" since yesterday arvo plus spillage?? When's this gonna end?

Me neither. Haven't got a snorkel on the bike yet but I have been sussing out some flotation devices.
I did sit on it in the garage for a while. Does that count?
Couldn't ride it anyway. BAC was slightly high so I was being a responsible rider.
