has any one tried and succeeded in removing the 4 studs from the front of the diff,,and if so how

guy's on the UK site have heated the shock bolt to break the hold of the loctite with success

my question would be,, how much heat is needed to break down the loctite  and how much heat is to much

I need to remove the outside 2,have tried double nutting but they are so tight the nuts end up turning,, am in the last stages of an interesting build, and this might cause a small hic-cup

Steptoe, get hold of a spare nut and split using a hacksaw, cutting through 1 flat. Then tack-weld the split!! Sounds daft but welding pulls like a barstard. In other words you are squeezing the nut tighter onto the stud by welding...then double nut and give it a go.
While riding, have eyes like a cameleon!!!
Never trust anyone on the road...including yourself!!!
A bike is better than sex...the ride always lasts longer!!!
