Standard plug is BP6ES, I use BP7ES sometimes?????

Found that link from NGK, quite good.

I think it means that with the 5 instead of the 6  the plugs heats up quicker, less deposits when a lot of start/stop rides. ????

I think the correct plug is the NGK BP6ES

Hi guys,
Just reading kens tuning story on his 78 and its great reading.
This is my seriously dumb question: What is the correct heat range plug for the 78?
I note Ken had NGK BP6ES plugs in his photo, I have th same plugs in mine, but in another bike I just picked up it has NGK BP5ES plugs, whats the go there? Is going down one a hotter plug?

Any specific range for the 78 XS?
