I replaced EVERYTHING that needed fixing with either new rubbers, gaskets, cables etc and broke about seven bikes to get all the good bits and made one hell of a bike that needed nothing cept maybe a matching paint scheme and still only got $2800 and I was pushing it. If he sells that for over 7k then he is a better man than me, and I will feel sorry for the buyer as they will obviously be missing some brain cells.

Has a 3X1 (1980/81) paint scheme but a 2H7 or 9 motor.....has a kick starter.

i thought 3000 - 4000 was asking a lot

That's not the first time that speedo has seen 10,000 miles. Have a close look at the ignition switch and the idiot lights.

If that sells for that price then mines on the market for $20k and I'll go and buy ten more.
