It's still a baby at 239k. thats only approx 7,500klm a year. :)

Probably due a rebuild though.

My '78E has had two frame up refreshers with one complete engine and gearbox rebuild.
Nearly due for another freshen up now at 324,700klm.

When I rebuilt the engine I only went up to the 1179 Weisco so that still left plenty of meat for their next stage which is the 1196.

I'm only 54 and I think the old girl will see me out. ;D

There's no such thing as a cheap XS anymore. Bought mine just as prices were starting to rise. One of the best investments I've ever made.
