Yep I was going to ask the same about the gravel?????

Does not look pretty but it is an XS1100 so a bit of a spit and polish and off you go again. ::) ::) ::)

righto,, can understand the metal, plastic, rings and assorted other,,,but how the hell does gravel get in there  :-\ , don;t have any people that would like to see ill fortune come to you??

any way,, couple a days, be up and running  ;)

For your info, the sump has gravel, broken rings, plastic and an M6 nut (presumably from cam cap).
No wonder the crank and white metal bearings were fakked!!!
