I'm about to try a set of Lithium Polymer cells.
The 4 strapped together about the size of a coke can, but you can make the 4 cells fit anywhere you like.

something that hasn't been covered yet,,

have a standard YUASA batt in mine, lead with acid,, C50 N18L A

the mates Goldwing needed a new batt {C50 N18L A2 } this week and he asked me to get a CALCIUM one for it,,,apparently they don't make these for M/C's,, but we ended up with a "dry fit " low maintenance sealed batt ------SSB dry fit, ultra high performance-------HVT-6-----$172

get this  490 CCA,, bloody thing twists the motor out of the frame on wind over,,

SO THE ??  how many differing views and opinions and types of batts that fit our bikes do we have out there?

will be interesting to hear from our international brothers as well to see if weather temp extremes denote a different batt,, even the guys in the alpines of NSW/VIC will have a good idea of this as well,, and how extremes effect them,, have no idea, have only ever lived in hot climates and hotter climates
