Mine failed a few years back and Miti on the UK site detailed the solution to bypass the dimmer by jumping two connections in the illumination control block - unfortunately the UK site looks to be temporarily (permanently?) off-line so I would need to venture out into the garage and get the tank off to check the specifics.

I’m having trouble with the illumination control unit assembly on my 5K7, the dash light come and go, has anyone else (apart from Mark) had any issues and was it as simple as replacing the unit, the availability is scarce
Beside that is there a way to bypass/ hard wire the lights
