Carbs can flood for several reasons, What year model are the carbs Colin, later tin tops or early cast tops

yo, i mentioned fuel taps in this vid, just strip em and fix em they're 40 years old is all...  it's not rocket science lol

Yeah, that's a common theme with these old things. Is yours a standard or an RH? An off position mod on standard taps is an option. I've done it to mine and no more flooding problems. Do a search on here for a "how to" do the mod.

We have the bike running now - sort of - after nearly 6 years of slow work.

The carbies keep flooding intermittently. Checked and adjusted all float levels, put new Japanese needles and seats in, and there doesn't seem to be dirt in fuel. I can't work out what is going on.

Has anyone had similar problems?
