Jonesy,

All will be well, have a look at Andy's video to mount them. Make sure you leave enough clearance to get the socket or spanner onto the nuts. Another rookie error. No drama just takes more time.

Jonesy,

I did get the grey lead kit. Mine came with straight caps, I think there were only 2 options, straight and 90 degree. Be careful that you leave plenty of lead when you cut them as the angle that they protrude out is deceptive and it is easy to leave them short. I put my reasonably new NGK 120 degree caps on, effective and look better, I think.

Thanks Andy, did you get the green dc1-1 or mini dc 1-2 coils? And the grey 8mm lead kit?

EDIT: sorry Andy I just read again and you said green

Hi,

Motociclo were more expensive than other suppliers but had them in stock. ($249 ish) for the pair.

Make sure you get the HT leads kit as well I thought they'd be easy to source, similar to old style car distributor fittings but that proved not to be so.

I'd like to recommend Tri Spark.
Australian Company and owner is a VJMC member.
They do a high output Dyna style coil at a reasonable price.
They give a discount if you are a VJMC member also.

I like the look of those, outlets point in the right direction (tick), are mounting hole centers the same? will they work on standard ignition system?

I guess they would, I'm using a Boyer system but spark is spark and they are 3 ohms

Green 3 0hm DYNA coils.
Available from on line Z1 Enterprises, I've bought a couple of sets from them now and they are good to deal with you'll need to make some brackets though, but I can help you with that if needed.
