Hi, the rack on my bike is a Ventura sports rack, I bought it about 2 years ago so am assuming they still have an XS specific fitting kit.

Cheers , so it looks like it's lost a rack at sometime maybe , I'd like to have that back at some stage.

This is what it should look like, the far left bolt holds the mudguard on, the middle bolt is for accessories, the big rubber bung is where the US model indicators went, there should be a captive nut in the middle hole with a flanged head dummy bolt in there, doing nothing but blocking the hole and looking important.

The big  holes with the plastic bung were for the indicators. The middle hole with a thread inside was for the rack mounts

Gidday Nixy, the indicators under the seat were for the US models. The Aussie or Oceana models had the indicators coming out of the tail light. Is yours a "standard" model?

Hi all
I've got some holes under my seat where the originalblinkers were was this a common fault ?. Recently I came close to selling my XS having not ran for 4.5 years but couldn't do it ,it being one of the best bikes I've ever ridden. Just watched the 2017 rally and found out about the Pitman link and seen the faces to some of the club , now I want it back on the road.
