I do mine with a fine sanding disc on a die grinder, and then do the hard to reach parts by hand. sorry to resurrect an old thread, but im new here :p

lol yes just a touch up not a grope, good way to put it. Im guessing it is done by now, photos?

This is the real cool '70s look isn't it 8). We did this to all our bikes back then.

I use a very fine flat file for the larger areas and a fine flat rat tail file for those hard to get at places. Be gentle with her she only wants a touch up not a grope.

Post some pics when your done mate.

Have just painted the cylinder head black. Anyone got any tips on sanding the cooling fins. Just wet n dry on a sanding block? or is there a better way?

I want mine to look like Fred's ...........
