All good here ....I can t help but think the trailer option would of been safer than riding.... due to the extremes the tire composition went through and ended up in looking at the pics.
 As I said...........boys will be boys.....stay safe my friend.
I have a reasonably good ,  although half worn tire on the back of my bike and got a pin hole leak that was a shit to find and fix.... but being as it is the only contact between the metal of the rims and the road and potential loss of control ....my tires are my God when riding.
I choose better grip always...over longer kms.
Not to say I have nt done the tire burnout myself ....but only when it needed replacement and had the new one on hand. 
Vacuum caps yadda yadda yadda.

I will admit - it wasn't pretty

been on there for 10K Km so far
I put any rubber bits on (handgrips etc) with Isocol

they are difficult to remove

was previously using the plastic parts from Supercheep with a small zip tie - that was crap
saw these Honda parts on Andy's machine
